Magnetic LED tiles delivers high quality images with remarkable clarity

The Magnetic LED Tiles, MAG240, deliver ease of installation, one tile at a time and all by hand without requiring heavy lifting equipment.

Magnetic LED Tiles

The ICE Mag240 tiles secure onto the mounting surface via the 4 magnetic feet onto the rear support frame. The power supply is mounted conveniently on the wall behind the tiles.

The Fixed Magnetic LED tile combines a number of elements that can make it the ideal solution for video wall displays of any size.

The lab certified magnetic holding ability of the LED panels  confirms the tiles have a Magnetic pull of 3 kg per each corner foot and 12 kg per led module indefinitely.  Once they are on a wall together it would be virtually impossible to knock them off.

The performance of the pixel calibration has achieved a remarkable level of accuracy. Unique technology allows a new level of accuracy to calibrate the displays for both brightness and colour uniformity at pixel level (pixel by pixel) in the factory in Calibration Tunnels where each LEDs are measured and given a value for both brightness and chroma and each LED/Pixel/Cabinet is then aligned to the standard value of the weakest LED to reach perfect uniformity of the entire display. The value of each LED for each pixel is registered in each scan card. This information is also stored in each module’s EEprom and also stored in our factory’s computer system. We can guarantee the color and brightness uniformity when deliver the product and guarantee the uniformity of the new modules with the saved data in the system. The update screen brightness calibration data both ensure the uniformity of the display’s brightness as time goes by.

FlexiRoll LED screen delivers very light weight digital images

The ICE FlexiRoll transparent LED screen comes in a range of formats. Starting at 16mm pitch it delivers the ability to display graphics and videos in a large scale format, but without the large weight and bulk often attributed to LED screens.

The flexible nature is a real bonus when it comes to installations due to the substantially less weight in the semi transparent screen.

This photo is of the Flexible LED 20mm pitch that delivers recognisable images even at relatively close up. Ideally the resolved MVD is starting at 20mm pitch when the image becomes non pixelated to the viewer. the areas of the screen that are white is what would be black on a graphic and therefore the SMD LED are not lit.

In the next photo of the FlexiRoll screen, we have zoomed in real close and you can see in this option the Double Strip model where two vertical rows of LED are present and the transparent nature between the strips.

The real advantages can be also considered in the light weight. For a screen that measures just on 10m wide and 2m high the next weight is approx 165kg. An equivalent metal cabinet LED screen could at least weigh in at 600 kg excluding all the infrastructure to keep it up right. because the screen of this size using the ICE FlexiRioll also means the sectional panels are easily carried by one person as they are only 9kg. This carry on benefit means that install costs become a lot less and and easier to implement.

Glass LED Panels create magic on glass in a new form.

Glass LED Transparent Glass LED Panels are a recent development that brings dramatic digital display capability to any window big or small.

Today glass plays a significant and major finish to some of the most creative and modern looking buildings built. For many innovative architects and engineers a building is simply not a construction, but a statement, a gigantic work of art and a reflection of modern day display technology.

With the ICE Glass LED panels it is now possible to attach LED panels directly to the glass by way of the innovative mounting technique. The panels can but up edge to edge and thereby creating large seamless edges with the only constraint being the glass window installation structure and the engineering aspects of additional weight of the LED screens added to the glass wall.

A certain amount of customisation is possible, for example, removal of the controller an power supplies to be mounted on the LED glass panels.

Fold and Roll up your LED screen Just like a Curtain or Mat!

ICE AV’s LED Division is gaining a world wide reputation for delivering innovative products and also solutions for unusual and in recent cases enormously large LED screens. The ICE Flexible LED screen known as the Hang-Roll-Fold is a revolutionary concept in large screen digital format display technology.

In this video we talk about the connectivity and give you a close up view of a 960mm x 1920mm panel.

As the ICE Flexible LED curtain screens are flexible and can be folded and rolled they are easily transported, do not require a truck and simply hung from lighting bars, irrespective of the screen size. The ICE Flexible LED can be manufactured in custom sizes and have the increased flexibility of being able to be joined together if specified at the time of manufacture. The screens can even be walked on rolled, folded whilst being operated.

Towards the end of the video we demonstrate how multiple screens can be connected to make one single larger screen displaying either one single image of multiple images. The Flexible LED screens range from 18.5mm Pitch to 100mm pitch. This video displays the 20mm Pitch and is suited for video from camera feeds, television, DVD and other sources. Sources can either be a standalone computer or althernatively multiple AV sources are displayed via the Screen input switcher processor.

The screens can be used in environments including outdoors with low light levels and of of course in doors. The screens performance enables many new exciting applications where projection is not practical.

The applications are numerous including public venue events, temporary setups, concerts, sports and entertainment, club parties, movie evenings.

Disappearing invisble Mercedes Benz cars is possible with innovative flexible LED technology.

LED technology exploded once again onto our TV sets, onto the stadium seats and to the enjoyment of many with the Spice Girls onto their cabs during the 2012 London Olympics. However earlier in March some else was demoed in the Germany market.

The use of LED screens on a vehicle’s exterior as a display surface is a relatively new concept made possible by a new generation of flexible rubber / magnetic LED tiles that are applied to the vehicles surface.

Here at ICE we have two new generation tile formats to assist the innovators, marketers and those who want to create unique visual experiences to create high quality images with either the P10 or P6mm tiles.

The key is the ability to hold the tile in place by built in magnets that hold the tiles vertical in place and to curve around the side of the vehicle. Ideally the power to drive is from the vehicle helping to make it stand alone.

Recently German automotive maker Mercedes Benz used the tiles for great effect to launch their hydrogen fuel system technology when they placed the vehicle in public environs or driving down the road. When the screen was switched on, the vehicle disappeared by virtue of the camera on the on the other side of the vehicle that placed the view that the vehicle was obstructing  onto the screen in real time enabling the vehicle to blend into the environment.

So you have a great idea to create some immersive invisible cars or that matter any object? Essentially a starting point is a accurate plan drawing of the vehicle. This is then used to plan and calculate the mapping of the tiles over the vehicle, from that costs can be calculated.
