The ICE FlexiFold series LED Screens are possible as fine as 4mm Pitch resolution

The ability to fold up into a stack, a commercial grade fine grade Pitch resolution LED screen has been the secret desire of installers, event organiser, show designers, theatrical technicians and installers. They all know the heavy lifting, effort and time required.

The ICE FlexiFold R Series eliminates this by allowing innovative storage, light weight handling, assembly of large size LED screens, and simplicity of mounting from an overhead structure bar. In the following pictures we provide an insight in the hanging, folding and storage ability. In essence a single person could assemble a screen due to the average 11.5kg per square metre.

Folding

The mounting is straightforward as pictured. Many people are confused as to how to feed a content source to a LED screen. So plainly speaking it falls into the following scenario:

One solution is where a (1) computer is constantly connected to the LED screen or a (2) LED Switcher processor is connected (as pictured). You can remove the multi source LED switcher / processor and operate directly from the Windows OS computer if all your content will be via a computer. For live and multi source use a LED switcher / processor allows increased instant source selection. If you only use a Apple computer you will need to use this via the LED switcher processor, and initial screen setup will need to be via a Windows OS computer.

Storage of the Panels
As pictured the ICE Flexifold panels easily fold up and store in the flight case. The lighter weight of the panels means that moving the flight cases around are light compared to large format cabinet type solutions which can help reduce transportation costs.

Storage of each panel is safely stored.

Fold and Roll up your LED screen Just like a Curtain or Mat!

ICE AV’s LED Division is gaining a world wide reputation for delivering innovative products and also solutions for unusual and in recent cases enormously large LED screens. The ICE Flexible LED screen known as the Hang-Roll-Fold is a revolutionary concept in large screen digital format display technology.

In this video we talk about the connectivity and give you a close up view of a 960mm x 1920mm panel.

As the ICE Flexible LED curtain screens are flexible and can be folded and rolled they are easily transported, do not require a truck and simply hung from lighting bars, irrespective of the screen size. The ICE Flexible LED can be manufactured in custom sizes and have the increased flexibility of being able to be joined together if specified at the time of manufacture. The screens can even be walked on rolled, folded whilst being operated.

Towards the end of the video we demonstrate how multiple screens can be connected to make one single larger screen displaying either one single image of multiple images. The Flexible LED screens range from 18.5mm Pitch to 100mm pitch. This video displays the 20mm Pitch and is suited for video from camera feeds, television, DVD and other sources. Sources can either be a standalone computer or althernatively multiple AV sources are displayed via the Screen input switcher processor.

The screens can be used in environments including outdoors with low light levels and of of course in doors. The screens performance enables many new exciting applications where projection is not practical.

The applications are numerous including public venue events, temporary setups, concerts, sports and entertainment, club parties, movie evenings.

Flexible 10mm thick Folding LED Panels for indoors and outdoors achieves unique break thru in LED design.

LED Division: ICE Flexible LED Panel offers high resolution in folding type LED screens

This latest addition, FlexiFold O Series, is based on small panels (192mm x 192mm) that are stitched together and 10mm thick. The panels can be joined together to create large screens such as 5m x 3m. Each screen panel can be joined together to create extensive size screen.

The middle panel pictured with the lady is our 12mm Folding LED screen panel.

The FlexiFold O Series is available in Indoor and Outdoor Brightness, various Pitch Resolutions and a variety of IP Ratings.

The stitching wire forms the attachment for adjacent panels. Each row can be folded on the next, forming a neat stacked when all folded. The range extends from 6mm – 20mm. Screens can be suspended from over head or laid flat on the floor. Screen height should be based on 192mm steps and each panel width is made of 4pcs or 6pcs unit panels, with an overall panel module width of 768mm or 1152mm.

The signal and power is connect with independent cable and the power supply, receiver card, led screen are separated components.

Shipping volume means that when folded and stacked the bulk of the volume is the actual screen with out air.

The IP rating ranges from IP43, IP54 and IP65. Brightness ranges from 950 – 9000 NITS. This capability delivers huge capability for daytime and night time conditions.
