In this video we provide a brief overview of the Plas480 model cabinet.
This is a uniform cabinet size irrespective of Pitch or Brightness. It is a light weight cabinet based on a 480 x 480m x 85mm cabinet chassis. Special attention has been given to standard installation processes, easy to repair and replace without high technical knowledge and long life of 100,000 hours.
The 6-7kg weight is a real bonus for technical and installation staff and makes it far easier for companies to meet their health and Safety Work Environment policies. As each cabinet can easily and safely moved by manual labour the cost of forklifts are reduced. The screen cabinets are suitable for being stored and transported in a flight case for rental use and with 4 per case they are easily managed by hand. For permanent installations the reduced weight can also reduce costs related to frame support structures etc.
The high frequency refresh rate makes it suitable when used with TV cameras to ensure there is no recorded screen scroll flicker. The light weight certainly adds to the ease to install piece by piece without heavy lifting equipment. With IP 43 and 65 ratings means there is an option for indoor and outdoor capability. The low power consumption means long term ownership and operation is reduced due to the averaged 88w per sqm and max 220w per sq m current.
