Every year we find that more and more, each dollar spent, has to deliver a greater return. Unless you are running the Olympics or a national high profile event it is highly probable that all the bells and whistles resources and equipment will be absent from your event. So for community event organisers, schools, clubs and social sports activities that budget needs to deliver a positive return.

In this view of 6 digits we are using three interchangeable Plas480 LED panels. Model 103  The LED panel frame can be lowered on the pictured legs and the frame has the possibilities of being placed at ground level.

Due to thee modular approach for creating portable LED screens that one person can transport and assemble within minutes, it is ideal for for the rental company. By utilizing five LED panels it offers a digital display timing system in temporary or fixed situation, simply by assembling the components for the size required. from 2 to 8 plus digits.

The Model 105 with a full screen height of 480mm and 2400mm wide allows eight digits wide. This size also makes it suitable to display a sponsor logo at the end of the clock when not requiring to display all eight digits.

A special feature that you should note is that between running timed
events the screen can display advertiser messages, logos and
communication messages. This versatility means an opportunity to create an income, constant use, not just when timing a race.

The screen clock can either be left assembled into the holding frame
or the LED panels can be simply unscrewed and stored in the flight
case. This makes it perfect for safe transportation and simple for a
single person to transport and set up on site.

Once on site select the stand components, screw it together, drop your panels into position and now you have a rugged mobile system designed to time your competitions and events.

The design has been enhanced by giving users the ability to add printed sponsor and additional advertising space, above and below the screen on the front and also the complete rear area of the stand. The Plas480 Modular Timing Clock system OUTDOOR  is available in P7.5mm, P10mm, P15mm, P20mm pitch in RGB or mono colour set up. Each screen can be used and installed in either portrait or landscape orientation. Every size can be pimped with additional side, top, bottom, rear access advertising panels, promotional flags. Additional Plas480 panels can be added over time to increase the screen size.

The ICE Plas480 screens are perfect for Xnote Stop Watch timing software. We offer the screens also with a range of optional sports score board software for all the main sports starting @ 2 x 3 Plas480 led panels.

In this screen shot  we show two clocks. the left clock is the displayed view that appears on the LED screen and is the view that appears on photos seen on this article. The right hand clock is a option clock view. The excel spreadsheet is a nice feature that allows the external trigger to automatically enter the triggered times to appear in the spread sheet to create an accurate database of the athletes times.  For our system solution we will be supplying external beam switches along with a completely functioning computer ready for a plug and play experience.

The following is a screen shot of the Multi Sport Score Board administrators score board panel. Here the Scoring Administrator can add the points won, suspend time etc through a simple mouse click or touch screen selection. The displayed view on the score board is identical part from not displaying the Administrator selection buttons. We have added two logos for each of the teams, set a black ground, given the sports field the name of Henderson Park. Numerous other features are available and can be customised.

Create a visual impression on your next stage show with the Plas480 ICE LED Stage Panel Displays.

LED screens are creating dynamic and amazing visuals in concerts. Shows like the XFactor, Eurovision create mesmerising stage screens that captivate and are a visual feast. Deadmau5 is well known for his DJ booth fitted out in the diamond LED shape as if though he is commanding a fantasy night club space ship.

At the other end of the scale the independent DJ and performer is constantly seeking out ways to enhance their shows and stage presence. The wedding DJ or club DJ are all equally dedicated to create a memorable show at the community hall, poolside party, high school dance or local club. What we have noticed that they typically have to rely on some LCD screens and they usual array of lights and strobes to create some visual impression.

So the team here at ICE AV set about with the challenge, how could we enhance the stage presence of these DJs with a system that is modular and expandable. We wanted to make it full weather proof – just in case they get caught in the rain or a bomb dive at the pool party gives the screens a soaking and able to withstand the brightest daytime sun any where
on the planet.

So our LED Division set about designing a system that is completely modular, easily transported, simple to assemble and allows the big screen experience within a restricted budget.

The Plas480 LED Stage Panels are available in a number sizes. Each panel consists of a quantity of 480mm x 480mm modular panel. Pictured above is a Plas480 Model 301TL. This model consists of 3 x 6kg panels along with side mounted IR programmable Hololites. One of the aspects we have found is that many DJs find it challenging to be able to transport and set up massive displays simply because of the manpower and budget required. The PLas480 LED Stage Panels are designed in such a way that they can be transported in a van and set up by one person.

To cater for the inevitable demand for size options, the Plas480 LED Stage Panels are available as standard in the “Single Series”, that is, a single row or single column and typically we are suggesting a maximum of five 480 x 480mm modules as being the maximum quantity for the the Single Series per LED Stage Panel. The reason the “Single Series” is so appealing is the ease of transporting. Multiple “Single Series” can be used together. All PLas480 LED Stage Panels can be used in horizontal and vertical orientation, floor mounted, suspended, or off floor configurations allowing maximum use options. Laser lights can be mounted on all sides assuming the do not have the Hololites mounted in position. In addition the ease of adding off screen extended beams for mounting lights is possible. This ability is a standard feature of all PLas480 LED Stage Panels.

The Plas480 LED Stage Panels are available in a P5, P10, P15, P20 pixel resolutions. We recommend the P10 option as an excellent starting position that maximises display effect for a reasonable budget. For those wanting maximum quality then the P5 is perfect whilst those wanting image impact on a restricted budget then the P15 and P20 options are a good starting place.

The Plas480 Modular Series from ICE AV is a recent development that is available in a variety of sizes. The LED Stage panel version is orientated towards the performance DJ, VJ and artist who wants flexibility, portability and the chance to increase their rig size. Starting off with a pair of Model 103TL or 102TL is a health way as a first rig set up. The addition of a 3rd Plas480TL LED Stage Panel enables you to dress the set in the front middle position.

The Plas480TL LED Stage Panels can be set up as separate units or removed from the frames and assembled into one complete larger screen.

Multi format and versatile Mobile LED screen enables many possibilities for sports, retail and expos.

We have been discovering that world wide end users, rental and AV companies have been in need of a modular LED system that is versatile, configurable, perfect for outdoor and expandable.

So we did some thinking, planning and tinkering as we love to do here at ICE AV.

For the rental company we have developed a system set approach, where by utilizing five LED panels and three stand sizes, they can offer a digital display system in vertical or horizontal formats, simply by assembling the components for the arrangement required. This makes it perfect for in-store promo display, roadside attention getter or as a sports event time clock. Select the stand components, screw it together, drop your panels into position and now you have a rugged mobile system designed to impress.

The design has been enhanced by giving users the ability to pimp their stand. So you can add side panels with vinyl lettering, top flags and our own unique side profile LED tubes for evening and dusk attention getting. The rear of the stand is idea for rigid board printed signs or tensioned vinyl cover advertisements. The stands are all on (locking) wheels so are easily moved about, with the simple option of unscrewing the wheels for static feet.

Mounting the frames vertical or horizontal is as simple as you deciding which way it should be orientated. We have allowed a rear shelf space and there is even an area to add an powered audio speaker.

In addition the frame is about the maximum length for the average van for transporting to site.

Construction
The Plas480 panels are manufactured from industrial grade outdoor proof plastic and are the same panels we can use on the large format bill board size screens. The frames and stands are all manufactured from 1.6mm wall box section steel. Every stand includes four wheels including locking function. If you need customisation let us know and we will see how we can accommodate your requirements.

Standard brightness is 5000 NITS with the option to increase up to a massive 10,000 NITS. the complete system is designed for outdoors in all weather and will deliver a bright image even when the sun is shinning directly onto the screen.

The RibbyMag screen solution has luminance for indoor use, has excellent uniformity and serviceability by using the latest LED SMD technology. Displays can be mono, multi-colour and full RGB.
