One of the niche LED range that ICE AV Global is able to offer are a range of end of contract Pre-Loved LED screens. These screens are carefully selected by our highly discerning experienced buyer and after passing the initial evaluation and inspection, then shipped to the refurbishment workshop for a team of specialist engineers to give them the full treatment, repair any defects, complete clean, facial front mask replacements, check all LEDs, electronics and connectors.

Just in now is 150sqm P4.8 outdoor screen perfect for rental applications. Screens are shipped out in flight cases. Clients ordering a Pre-Loved Refurbished screen can be assured that all screen panels shipped have been 100% tested and ship as new performance. Screens are typically 90% new and certainly not disused screens dumped on the market.

Varying quantities, models and specifications will come available on irregular basis and typically once ever 3 – 4 weeks new stock becomes available.

Outdoor Grade Transparent LED screen is a new dynamic digital surface to create exciting displays for various applications.

Transparent LED screens create a new dynamic visual feast that allows the illusion of the content to be floating on a see-thru screen. The applications are wide and varied, for example, turning office and building windows into transparent LED screens without blocking the view from inside when looking out. They can be ideal for creating dynamic walls in foyers, retail stores and can act as a division wall to segment and define various areas.

GOB LED technology allows improved long life.

In the early introduction of transparent LED screens they had to be mounted indoors due to the lack weatherproof ability. The concept for transparent LED started to inspire designers, architects and building owners and build demand momentum. The initial LED technology was based on SMD type. With the advance of GOB LED a new direction has enabled new innovation to allow the thin profile transparent LED screens for OUTDOOR installations.

The question you might be pondering is, “Why would I want to install a transparent LED screen out doors. There are a number of good reasons and applications for installing outdoors. Following are a number of ideas to consider.

First is the weatherproof (front and rear) feature, as this means the screen will not be damaged due to wet weather and humidity. This factor removes the worry often associated with electronics outdoors in general.

Transparent LED screens make an ideal technology in a public environment as an art installation, branding and naming screen.
The LED screen can be installed as a free standing wall, part of an architecutral construction. Display fun animation, or even be integrated with motion interactive technology.

ICE Global offers both indoor and external transparent LED screens. Generally speaking OUTdoor rated transaprent LED screens are more expensive than INdoor options.

This model is framed based and enables that each panel can be attached to each other by the built in connection system and cable connections. The panels can be hanging from an over head mount for example a lighting truss common in a truss, or for a building or wall, then they would be attached to a support frame.

Small Screen for the Big City: ICE announces the ICE Rear Window LED vehicle screen.

Designed as a transparent in-vehicle mobile advertising LED screen. The transparent ICE LED Vehicle screen allows the rear window of a vehicle to be used as an advertising screen without blocking the view out the window.

From the driver’s interior position the transparency looking thru the screen is 50%. This is achieved by the vertical LED spacing which is 5.2mm and also the brightness is only seen from the exterior. This allows the driver to still see traffic behind their vehicle through the window. Also note on the average taxi or other vehicle the screen will not cover the entire rear window.

The screen is easily installed from the inside of the vehicle’s rear window using 3M industrial grade dual side adhesive tape. The DC>DC power unit should be installed close by. Power is drawn from the 12v cigarette socket output. When the vehicle is switched off the screen would cease to operate.

Controlling the screen is from the Novastar Asynchronous Controller that utilizes the Smart Phone software for both Android and iOS preferences.

Operating and Setup
This requires the Smart phone device to have the software installed. A comprehensive 22 page Novastar manual is available for the software. As this is a LED screen specific software, it is expected users will familiarize themselves with its operation.  Please note if required, the Controller can be controlled from a Windows PC

Installation:
Attach flexible transparent screen to inside of window using 3M double side tape.
Power supply source plugs into cigarette dashboard socket.
Transparency is 50% and exterior is view-able through the screen.
The power supply(12VDC to 5VDC) & controller is placed near the panel.
If after some time you wish to install into a different vehicle then it is possible.

The screen could be used in other window scenario’s if needed, however in this specific case we have targeted it to in-vehicle display.

Please note we do not recommend you operate the the software on your phone whilst driving. Setup and operations should be done whilst the vehicle is stationery and off the road for legal and safety reasons.

We just need to look at the TV set and see how far we have come so quickly and we are on the verge of roll up film OLED technology for you how TV set. Large format billboard type display technology has seen LED to be the pre-eminent screen technology for stadiums, building screens and all daylight displays. In a new exciting development ICE AV introduces transparent adhesive LEDFlex film panels that combines the aspect of flexible film similar in concept to OLED and the capabilities of traditional LED displays. In essence think of it as Glass LED, LED Film or window screen technology.

The LEDFlex Window glass led tiles are available in a few different finishes:
Opaque – where the circuitry is bonded between two encapsulation films and is the most flexible. Here the see thru effect is translucent rather than transparent.
Sandwiched – here the tiles are mounted between two micro thin clear acrylic sheets and provide maximum transparent see through in both directions.
Black Backing – here the tile has a solid black lamination and zero transparency
Framed – here the tiles are mounted into aluminum frame.

For the first 3 installation can be installed against a window by adhesive tape.

The tiles have the option of three optical clarity conditions: Opaque, Transparent, Blocked. In addition the led tiles can be built into a frame that bolts together.

One of the unique characteristics is that the tiles can be laminated onto windows and building glass facades. It is not designed to be mounted on the external outdoor surface.

LED Flex Applications
There are a range applications for LEDFLEX Adhesive LED film:

Able to be applied onto the internal side of the glass facade of buildings of unlimited height and size, making it the first giant size stick on modular poster.

LED tile panel to display branding and advertisements of any media type or signal type input.

It is perfect for LED Displays onto city landmark building.

Office and retail store windows along side the main street are ideal locations. windows along the street.

Iconic installations as part of creative, interactive and multimedia projects.

Businesses such as banks, real estate, vehicle show rooms are perfect as they often have large street facing windows.

High traffic areas like train, Subway city transport hubs entrances are excellent positions.

Due to the extreme light film like nature it means installation sites that might have a weight constraint will benefit with large reduction in installation and infrastructure costs. For instance installing daylight capable LED screens on the 20th floor of any building with glass facade is now possible with NO NEED for any external cranes and scaffolds, closing off the road and expensive resource consents.

The LEDFLex is perfect for coloring environments, light shows and enhancing city facades and fences.

Environments like Interior decoration: shopping malls stores decoration, exhibition hall presentations can take advantage of the low profile subtle installation placement.
